Mine health and safety is an integral part of every mining operation of which dust control is animportant element.

The fine and coarse particles of an unpaved road work together to create a strong, smooth road.  When fine particles in the upper layer of the road are lost as dust, the unpaved road breaks down, resulting in rutting, wash boarding and other undesirable conditions. Not only do these conditions lower safety, but the dust itself causes poor visibility and safety issues. In addition, for those who live or work along the road, dust is a serious threat to their health.

All mining operations need to be committed to the healthand safety of their employees and surrounding environ-ments. Not only does deficient job safety and inadequatehealth protection lead to accidents and diseases, but theyalso have a significant economic impact which is difficult tomeasure.

It is in every mine manager’s bestinterest to have a workforce that knows its employer isdedicated to his or her safety and wellbeing. In order to dothis, it is necessary to have dust control measures im-plemented to protect workers from harmful respirabledust. With continuous exposure, dust passes into thealveolae, remains and affects the lung tissue limiting thefunctioning of the lungs with respiratory disease. Thecontrol of respirable dust in the mine is of critical importance.

By binding the fine particles and stabilizing them in the upper layer, RUICO have formulated a series of polymer resins.

Our classical PVA resin, is a water-soluble emulsion resin copolymerized by vinyl acetate and acrylate. The outstanding characteristics of this product are lower glass conversion temperature (Tg), excellent chemical stability, high resistance to alkalinity. This product has a wide applicability, excellent dispersion and compatibility with cement, variety of pigments and fillers,high bearing capacity.The waterproof coating made by mixing this product with cement has high elasticity, strong resilience, excellent resistance to water and aging, and good dispersion and construction performance for various powders.

In the process of soil application, simply dilute the RF-8130 dust suppressant and distribute it over the coverage in sufficient doses to glue the traffic base together and turn it into a solid that holds soil particles tightly together. When the wear surface is applied to the RF-8130 dust suppressant stable substrate, the life cycle of the road will be extended, and it will greatly reduce the cost of maintenance and reconstruction. It can also be mixed with RF-8130 dust suppressant to achieve better adhesion.
